Following the attacks on October 7th 2023, the Israeli occupation of Gaza and their treatment of Palestinians overall became a central issue. Given my social justice roots I felt it necessary to cover the Gaza war protests in Atlanta. Like my work during the protests in 2020, I decided to cover these protests on film as well, as I've found that the physical nature of the medium brings a presence to the images, not otherwise possible.
